The new logotype of the Textile Arts museum is a weaving of two languages. The name Musée des Tissus, well known to the people of Lyon, is supplemented by an English translation which specifies two notions : art and textile.
The use of Bloc typeface gives a high density to the sign while the lightness of the Vendôme inspired character brings a more subtle side. Each communication media was made with particular attention to its manufacturing details, thus underlining the institution’s prestige.
